About Daniel Corpuz Chocolatier
Daniel Corpuz Chocolatier creates handcrafted artisan bonbons and confections that highlightβs Filipino American and Asian American heritage by utilizing flavors indicative to Asian cuisine. Taking inspiration from tradition Filipino pastries, the idea is to transform them into chocolate bon bons. In addition, as a pastry chef, he transforms flavors traditionally found in pastry, like coffee, nuts, and caramel and re-imagines into the form of a bonbon.

American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We got Daniel's bon bons (Fil-Am flavors) for our wedding cocktail hour, and they were an absolute hit! Genuinely I have never seen a table of sweets disappear so fast. Guests were talking about it for the rest of the night and the days after! The highest quality of chocolate and chocolatier! We highly recommend for gifts and your next event!!

I am so glad that I happened to see this place on the map! I popped in and was immediately greeted by the most beautiful and bubbly staff member. I only wish I had asked their name because they were just so lovely. Very knowledgeable about the products and you could tell they were passionate about them too. This shop is Filipino inspired (chef is Filipino), making beautiful and delicious chocolate bonbons and cookies. (You can also get truffles and/or get the treats in a bag to save some money)! I got a box of 6 bonbons and got one of each cookie. Favorites were the cornick bonbon and the ube chocolate chip cookie. The presentation is π―. Canβt wait to return!

Incredible Filipino and Asian inspired chocolates. Perfect for a gift for friends (and then make sure they share with you). The pandan-flavored chocolate was my favorite. They also sell a decadent hot chocolate that uses the same chocolate they make for their treats, so if you need a warm drink, I highly recommend it!!!

The place is a must try for unique Asian inspired flavors. It's a very charming space and they make such a great product. Owner is really knowledgeable, and staff are super friendly. The bonbons are so pretty! Like eating jewels, it feels criminal. My favorite was the roasted corn and the black sesame, but the rest of the chocolates were delicious too.
